Vivek Sood

Mr. Vivek Sood is the Head of Clinical Operations for India. Mr. Vivek Sood received both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Pharmacy specializing in Pharmacology from Bangalore University and Punjabi University, respectively. He also received a post graduate diploma in computer applications from Punjabi University and a Master’s certificate in Project Management from S P Jain Institute of Management & Research, Mumbai.

Mr. Vivek Sood has over 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and clinical research industry. His vast experienced includes Phase I-IV clinical development across a variety of therapeutic areas but with a focus on oncology products. Prior to joining Veeda Oncology,Mr. Vivek Sood worked at a large international pharmaceutical company (Glaxo SmithKline Pharmaceuticals) as a sales executive and as a Senior Scientist at Dabur Research Foundation. Most recently, he worked at Reliance Clinical Research Services, an international CRO based in India. During his tenure at Reliance, Mr. Vivek Sood was the CRA for numerous oncology studies in both solid tumors and hematologic malignancies. He later moved into a Project Manager/Clinical Team leader role for large international Phase III oncology trials. He has expertise and experience in managing clinical operations for global oncology studies including ICH-GCP studies for submission to the FDA and EMEA.
